When attempting to install Premiere Pro and Media Encoder I am told that certain elements were not installed correctly. More detail provides me with this:

ERROR: Third party payload installer vcredist_x86.exe failed with exit code: -2147024546

ERROR: Failed to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x86). Please try installing it by double clicking on the executable at «C:UsersDustinAppDataLocalTemp{71D25293-D502-

День добрый. Купил DAI но установить не могу. Вылает ошибку: ошибка.распространяемый пакет среды выполнения vc++ не установлен.невозможно продолжить установку. (-2147024546)

Почитал на форумах что нужно проверить и обновить все  пакеты VC 2008, 2012,2013. Все и так было, на всякий случай переустановил все.

Ошибка не исчезает. 

Что делать? Требовать возврата денег?

and you are on Windows 10, this is why and how to fix it:

Why
You have a corrupted Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable on your system.

How to fix it

  1. Open Control Panel
  2. Go to Programs > Uninstall a Program
  3. Look for Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x64)
  4. Right-click on it and select Change
  5. When the popup options show up, choose repair.
  6. Now look for Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86)
  7. Repeat step #4 and #5
  8. Restart your computer
  9. Install Paint Shop Pro 2018 hassle-free

Note #1: when you click on REPAIR, if that’s the corrupted file it might already tell you that it is corrupted and you might have to restart your PC and go back to that file into Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program before it gets repaired.

Note #2: if repairing Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributables does not work, repair all the other Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables one by one, until you find the corrupted one. Almost certainly the guilty one is the C++ 2012, though.

    Leave the creative Cloud desktop application.

    Go to Control Panel > program and features.

    Under the list of programs, look for » 2012 Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package (x 64)» and uninstall the same.

    When you are prompted to » reboot» the computer.

    Then uninstall » package redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 (x 64).

    Once you had uninstalled package redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 (x 64). Click on the link below and «vcredist_x64.exe» download and install the same.

    Please find Muse in your machine and uninstall it if it is present. Run the cleanup tool: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html and remove all ruminants of Muse.

    Enable the root account:http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1528 in the case of Mac.

    Download desktop CC and try to install

    I had problems with the Prime Minister since installing it on Windows 8.1

    I am registered with creative cloud but first of all, got to actually program loading (it just kept trying to load then was going to)

    Then it loads but would not give me an option to edit movies actually pulling them to the timeline (it would drag the film only no sound)

    And today I tried an upgrade but you receive an error with it. As shown above (the complete summary is below).

    I tried to uninstall and reinstall through windows and it appeared to uninstall and resintall but I now have this problem.

    Also, I came across this problem. When I tried to install it using the direct Installer (linked to http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2015-direct-download-links.html), it has not as well, but the error log said:

    I’ve just downloaded Battlefield 4 from the Origin website and it wont complete the install. I get the following message:

    Error: The VC+ runtime redistributable package was not installed successfully. Set up cannot continue. (-2147024546)

    Any ideas of what to do? This is the 3rd problem with this game I’ve had, it’s becoming a nightmare and a puzzle to play.

    Reboot PC then try download game again. Once game is done reboot PC again then do the punkbuster below

    Go to Punk Buster site
    http://www.punkbuster.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php

    1- Download PB then extract files to your desktop.
    2- Open Punk Buster folder.
    3- Click on the PB setup and it will open.
    4-Add your BF4 game to punk buster its at the top of Punk Buster.
    5-Then update punk buster again at the top of Punk Buster.

    Reboot PC test BF4

    When are you seeing this? Can you try launching Ps and right after hold down the shift key?
    Close Photoshop.
    Hold down the Shift key and launch Photoshop. A dialog will appear during launch that reads «Skip loading optional and third-party plug-ins?»
    Click Yes to skip loading optional and third-party plug-ins.Note: This only disables optional and third-party for the current session. If you quit and restart Photoshop without holding down the Shift key, the optional or third-party plug-ins will be enabled.
    My guess is that you have a third party plugin which is causing this to happen.

    Hi Mylenium,
    from the notifications, IMHO, FrameMaker installation failed because of a corrupt DistillrStart.exe file in the installer.
    What I did not know, in the installation options, I could disable PDF maker.
    I do not need this module, that is already installed with Acrobat Pro on my system.
    In the support chat, I was not pointed to this, either. Although I asked if I really had to uninstall
    all Adobe software from my system before re-installing, even Acrobat…
    Thank God, my company’s administration remembered this issue from a previous installation.

    Hello there,
    I’ve been having problems with Premier since installing it on Windows 8.1
    I’m signed up with creative cloud but first I was having trouble actually loading the program (it just kept trying to load then would bomb
    Then it would load but wouldn’t give me an option to actually edit movies by dragging them to the timeline (it would drag the movie only no sound)
    And today I’ve tried an upgrade but get an error message with it. As above (the full summary is below).
    I’ve tried to uninstall and reinstall through windows and it appeared to uninstall and resintall but I now have this problem.

    You might attempt to simply REBOOT and then retry the installation.
    VC++ 2012 x64 can require a restart.  The Adobe installer is not designed to handle this situation.   If this is the issue in your case, rebooting will resolve it. 
    You are less likely to run into this particular issue if you reboot your PC and then run the Adobe install with every other program and tray icon closed.

    I’m trying to install Adobe Muse but keep getting an installation failed message. It generates the following error code

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Please look for Muse in your machine and uninstall it if present. Run the cleaner tool: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation -problems.html and remove any ruminants of Muse.
    Enable root account:http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1528 in case of Mac.
    Download CC desktop and try to install
    Muse:https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud .

    During the Installation of LR I get an error message. Initially I didn’t have enough space for the installation on the start partition drive. However, now, it should be sufficient and I re-booted the computer a couple of time, hence I would assume that the temporary installation files have been deleted.
    Now, nevertheless each time I try to re-install the software I get the following messages:
    ERROR: An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {6435B7C0-E0C8-3EA2-91AE-7640034EAFCE}. HRESULT: 0x80070002.
    ERROR: Install MSI payload failed with error: 1603 — Schwerwiegender Fehler bei der Installation.
    MSI Error message: An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {6435B7C0-E0C8-3EA2-91AE-7640034EAFCE}. HRESULT: 0x80070002.
    ERROR: Third party payload installer Adobe_Lightroom_x64.msi failed with exit code: 1603
    Since PS was installed without problems I would refrain from deinstalling the Creative Cloud and start over again.
    Any hints?

    Claasd5335054 you will want to review the MSI log files to determine what error message is preventing the installation from completing.

    This is the only error information contained within Adobe Lightroom 5’s installation log.  The MSI log files contain the additional error messages.

    Same problem. I have CC installed on Win 7 with all other apps working fine. Tried to install Lightroom 5 and got:

    I uninstalled all Adobe CC software, ran Adobe CC Cleaner, cleaned my Registry using Piriform CCleaner 5, rebooted and reinstalled CC from scratch. Same problem—everything else installed correctly except Lightroom 5. Also tried uninstalling KB2918614—no joy.

    you should dl lr 5.7 and then check that your download is complete. if the same error message results when you try to install, start here — Error 1603: A fatal error occurred during installation

    Where are you getting a “third party payload installer” for Acrobat from?
    If you “bought” a license for Acrobat that came with or otherwise obtained such an installer, you likely are dealing with something that is potentially harmful to your system, if not simply bogus and pirateware.
    Adobe certainly is not going to support or assist you with such an installer.
