Looks like your laptop is overheating. Take a look on the cooling rack, maybe there is little dust that prevents the fan to have enough air. Try to clean it. If this does not help, I think it is best to leave the laptop to be checked by a technician.

I ve installed the different Toshiba updates available for this model. However, the update BIOS doesn t work. She is currently the version 1.60. I suspect that your A30 could be overheating. There is a thermal trigger designed to cut power to the laptop if the CPU overheats. Normally this will be accompanied by an increase in the activity of fan cooling.

You will find a lot of posts in this forum about exactly this situation, but in short, I recommend to use a hose of vacuum cleaner against the grids of aspiration of air on the bottom of the A30 fan to remove all dust and debris from the heatsink to the CPU.
