Р1670 ошибка мерседес

Has anyone have access to the OBDII code P1670. I just got that on my 2000 V70 and there is a strange grinding noise when driving above 30mph like if there was something touching a tire.

I usually use this website but it doesn’t list a P1670 for Volvo. I have had good luck on here as well as with my Actron scanner.

Hi guys,
just a brief reply on this one, my engine management light come on today plugged in the OBD which gave me two codes;

P0171
System Too Lean (Bank 1)

p1670-powertrain

couldn’t find the meaning for this code for volvo’s and it seems some other people cant either, I know on fords this indicates P1670 is communication error between the PCM(powertrain control module) and the IDM(injector driver module).

Also someone said it might be a immobilizer fault, i have had a start up problem i related it to the cold mornings and the dirty maf sensor, that would make sense if i take the key out and lock then unlock with the fob it starts fine.

P1670 is the immobiliser aerial contacts needing cleaning as they oxidise, it could be the aerial is shot but normally disconnecting the aerial and cleaning the contacts on both the car wiring and the immobiliser aerial will cure the fault, the immob aerial is located around the ignition switch barrel it is a plastic ring.

The normal behaviour to accompany the P1670 code is when the car fires at start up and runs for about one second before shutting down.

For P0171 I would start by looking for a vacc pipe split or that has come off, check all vacc connectrions to the inlet manifold and where the pipes connect to — Mike
