Please help! I’m trying to build on my server but it keeps crashing, here’s all of the details that I think could lead to it:
I’m building in an area that has lots of blocks (really big building)
I’m using world edit (small changes at a time)
I’m flying around as I build and chucks have to load.
The biggest distance I need to travel by flying is 200 blocks. Here is the error report:

—————————————————————————————————————————————-The server itself doesn’t crash. When I’m building, world edit stops responding then I get kicked from the server with the error message of «Internal Exception: io.nutty.handler.timeout.ReadTimeoutException».
If I look at the console, it says I am still logged into the server. I kick myself from the server and try to re login, but it gives me the error again, but the server is saying I logged in. When I look at the console, it says the following:

—————————————————————————————————————————————-This is a multicraft console, so it should be read from the BOTTOM to the TOP because the top is themost recent and the bottom is the older encounters. Please help! This is all the information I can come up with, but I can’t figure it out…. Thanks in advance!

Please help! I’m trying to build on my server but it keeps crashing, here’s all of the details that I think could lead to it: I’m building in an area that has lots of blocks (really big building) I’m using world edit (small changes at a time) I’m flying around as I build and chucks have to load. The biggest distance I need to travel by flying is 200 blocks. Here is the error report:

When I look at the console, it says the following: —————————————————————————————————————————————- 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] ERROR This crash report has been saved to: /./crash-reports/crash-2014-01-21_01.07.12-server.txt 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:744) ~[?:1.7.0_45] 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:615) ~[?:1.7.0_45] 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor.runWorker(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:1145) ~[?:1.7.0_45] 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.v1_7_R1.util.AsynchronousExecutor$Task.run(AsynchronousExecutor.java:85) ~[craftbukkit.jar:git-Bukkit-1.7.2-R0.2-b2974jnks] 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.v1_7_R1.util.AsynchronousExecutor$Task.initAsync(AsynchronousExecutor.java:95) ~[craftbukkit.jar:git-Bukkit-1.7.2-R0.2-b2974jnks] 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.v1_7_R1.util.AsynchronousExecutor$Task.init(AsynchronousExecutor.java:150) ~[craftbukkit.jar:git-Bukkit-1.7.2-R0.2-b2974jnks] 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.v1_7_R1.chunkio.ChunkIOProvider.callStage1(ChunkIOProvider.java:13) ~[craftbukkit.jar:git-Bukkit-1.7.2-R0.2-b2974jnks] 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.v1_7_R1.chunkio.ChunkIOProvider.callStage1(ChunkIOProvider.java:19) ~[craftbukkit.jar:git-Bukkit-1.7.2-R0.2-b2974jnks] 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO at net.minecraft.server.v1_7_R1.ChunkRegionLoader.loadChunk(ChunkRegionLoader.java:84) ~[craftbukkit.jar:git-Bukkit-1.7.2-R0.2-b2974jnks] 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO at net.minecraft.server.v1_7_R1.NBTCompressedStreamTools.a(SourceFile:78) ~[craftbukkit.jar:git-Bukkit-1.7.2-R0.2-b2974jnks] 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO at net.minecraft.server.v1_7_R1.NBTCompressedStreamTools.a(SourceFile:98) ~[craftbukkit.jar:git-Bukkit-1.7.2-R0.2-b2974jnks] 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO at java.io.DataInputStream.readByte(DataInputStream.java:265) ~[?:1.7.0_45] 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO at java.io.BufferedInputStream.read(BufferedInputStream.java:254) ~[?:1.7.0_45] 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO at java.io.BufferedInputStream.fill(BufferedInputStream.java:235) ~[?:1.7.0_45] 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO at java.util.zip.InflaterInputStream.read(InflaterInputStream.java:164) ~[?:1.7.0_45] 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] INFO java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid distance too far back 21.01 01:07:12 [Server] ERROR Encountered an unexpected exception —————————————————————————————————————————————- This is a multicraft console, so it should be read from the BOTTOM to the TOP because the top is themost recent and the bottom is the older encounters. That was my first idea, but I have 8GIGS allocated to the server and we are only at 39% of the memory usage so we’ve used less than 3.5GIGS of the 8, so I dont think that is the problem.
There is a new issue though. The last time my server crashed, it won’t let me log back on. I was inside of the chunk that’s been causing problems when the server crashed and now everytime I try to log back on, I immediatly get kicked for an Internal Server Error or internal Exception: java.land.ClassCastException: net.minecraft.client.network.NetHandletLoginClient cannon be cast to net.minecraft.network.play.INetHandletPlayClient This is making me very upset……. I cant log on to the server that IM PAYING FOR :/
This is what it says in the Console when I try to log in:

to log back into your server you can go into your world files and find your player file and just delete it. the world will think youve never been there and put you back at a default spawn

There is no user data for me anywhere… Not in essentials, PEX, the world files, rankups, or any of my other plugins. Before I deleted the player data, I set my location to the cords of the spawn but that didnt work either

and youre getting that error still? its a packet error what you can do is try restarting the server. or you can get a packet handler plugin. i usually use something like protocol lib or bkcommonlib sometimes ill use both. also try updating your server.jar

I’m using CraftBukkit 1.7.2. I have restarted the server over and over when I was trying to refresh the chunks. I’m using multiverse to manage my worlds if that helps.. What does a packet handler plugin do? I know what packets are and how they are used, but how would that help with this? Every other player can log in, except for me. I haven’t been able to try with a different ip address, but if I log in with another account it works. So it’s just that one player (me)

because thats what it says when you try to log in,. failed to handle packet for player its interesting how it is as persistent as it is and its only for you. ive looked up something about this issue and it says what i said earlier about removing your player.dat files from your world / players folder. youll have to delete them from world nether and the — end as well. there was another thing that ive read somewhere about it needing to do with PEX setup and config. there could be a permissions problem and you need to go into pex and fix that. try finding the line in pex that is your player and removing it as well.

I wasn’t having a problem until I started building in this world. I’m copying the region files and creating a new world with multiworld and Im going to paste them into the new generated world. I’m doing this with one of my alt accounts but hopefully it might work :/ The permissions are ok, that was one of the first things I looked at. I’m also going to try to delete the player files from the end and nether, I already deleted it form the world itself. Btw, you are very helpful, thank you.

Hello,
Sometimes I have this odd bug in AS1, out of nowhere, and it happens really randomly. I’m not sure if it’s due to some modpack conflict or what.
Here’s some details as to when the crash happens.
If possible, I would like to have this looked into, since this has been happening more for me and to my girlfriend when she plays as well.
Any solutions or explanations will be really helpful.
Thank you.

doesn’t look like that this would crash the client or disconnect you. If it does nothing like this, why don’t we just ignore it?

Well, that’s the thing. It did disconnect me and crash me, out of the random. And when it did, that’s the message that would appear.
Hm, perhaps I’ll need a bit more data from my crash to show you what I’m trying to talk about.
-
if it crashes, there should be a crashlog, could you please upload it?

go to «Feed the Beast\AgrarianSkiesHQ\minecraft\crash-reports»
there should be files like «crash-2014-04-27_13.44.04-client.txt»
upload the file somewhere or simply post it on Pastebin.com — #1 paste tool since 2002! like this: —- Minecraft Crash Report —- // Don’t be sad, have a hug! <3 Time: 27.04 — Pastebin.com -

have you tried forcing an update in the ftb launcher for the modpack (options->force update)?
couldt be some corrupted data in the downloaded files. -
The place you logged off is fine, so I assume it is related to your player save data. According to this I just reset it and put all your items into a chest on the colorful platform. I hope you did not have too much bloodmagic as you have to start from 0.

Just tested an instance with just FTBLib, Quests, and their dependencies with no crash. I commited my latest quest changes on our repo if you’d like to take a look.
There’s nothing whatsoever here to suggest any problem with an FTB mod. The error suggests a possible corrupted mod JAR file, but it’s hard to be certain. In any case, I don’t think there’s anything else I can add here, sorry.

After The New SkyBlock Update, I Have Been Getting This Disconnect Message:
internal exception: io.netty.handler.codec.decoderexception: java.util.zip.dataformatexception: invalid distance too far back
Iv’e Tried Restarting Minecraft, Restarting My Pc, My Internet Router Still Does Not Change Anything
Can Anyone Tell Me A Fix To This
(Also This Only Happens When I Go To SkyBlock Hub It Disconnects Me And It Says That Error, When Im In My Island It Does Not Happen.)
I Also Think This Is A Bug On SkyBlock, Cuz Before The New Update I Did Not Have Any Problem On Any Errors. Then After The Update I Have Been Getting Disconnected Over And Over The Second I Get In SkyBlock Hub.

i’ve had mods disconnect me before. a client side error happens, and the server refuses to let you exist if it sees you have that error. mods can sometimes mess with packets that essentially allow you to be on a server
